"I was one of those people who thought I was a small business owner with a small following, and that no one would be interested in hacking me—so I didn’t need to deal with that topic in any detail. Unfortunately, I was wrong. My entire Meta account was hacked (my personal and business Facebook, as well as my business Instagram), and a “nice” amount was taken from the card I used for ads.
I had two-factor authentication enabled and confirmation via SMS was required, but that didn’t prevent the hack. One Monday morning I simply no longer had access to anything, and all I could see was a message saying I was blocked for violating the rules.
